I have been forced to reintall Windows 7 64bit onto the hard disk of my laptop, and I ran into a problem with the Audio Card. The drivers for the Realtek HD Audio card were successfully installed however previously the Digital Output portion which controls the SRS settings was reported as being connected, yet that is not the case this time and the HD Audio Manager doesn't offer the SRS tab for the settings where it did before. How do I fix this without reinstalling windows?

My system is the MSI S6000-017US notebook with the following:
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 450M 2.4GHz with a 1333MHz FSB
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics (Core i5)
  • Sound: Realtek HD Audio (SRS Powered Premium Sound) with 2 internal speakers
  • Storage: Hitachi Travelstar 750GB SATA HDD (upgraded from 500GB)
  • Optical: MultiFormat DVD Drive
  • OS: MS Windows 7 x64 Professiona
  • RAM: Corsair 8GB DDR3 1333MHz

Which drivers did you install? These ones from MSI?
