I can't get Corssfire to work, as soon as an app tries to use 3D the system hard crashes, blue screens or reboots.

When I load GPU-Z the system freezes.

My system config is:
Windows 7 64 Bit
Intel Core i7-3770K
MSI Z77A-GD65 MB with Bios version 10.5
2 x MSI R7870 Hawk in CF
1000 watt OCZ power supply

- Each card on its own works fine.
- I have lowered the clock speed to spec (1000Mhz)
- Using ATI Catalyst 12.8
- Cards are installed on PCI_E2 & PCI_E5 slots
- No monitors are connected to second GPU

This is a fresh system, no other drivers have been installed.

Anybody else have this problem?
Motherboard and 2 Graphics cards are all MSI.

What is the best way to uninstall ATI Catalyst so I can try older drivers?
Are the drivers ATI drivers on MSI website different to the ones on AMD's website?

Use >>Driver Fusion<< in Safe Mode to remove current VGA drivers.
Then install the latest drivers from MSI:

Try again

MSI drivers are verified for the MSI product they are offered for.
