Hi everyone
I just joined up & i have a question about this video card  . Why is this card so much cheaper than most of the MSI video cards i found this card on Newegg for only $79.99 . This card has 4gigs of DDR3 ram ?

the 630GT is a low end Nvidia card and having 4GB of ram is overkill on that type of card unless your trying to run 2 huge resolution monitors for genaral stuff like watching films ect!

the GPU isn't for gaming as its quite slow and the ram is only DDR3 not DDR5 so its very slow in comparison at fast repeating frames! its cheap because its a BASIC video card for low end systems and nothing more.

if you plan on gaming you would need a 650 GT or GTX or better for any meaningfull performace in games.

Depends on what gaming means for you. Of course any current 3d game is out of reach with settings on high. It is a low-end card pretty much not meant for serious gaming. Expect minmum to sometimes medium settings in most games running fairly smooth. A gaming recommendation would cost a lot more.

Better look into something like a GTX650 or a Radeon HD7770
