990FXA-GD65 AMD raid driver
« on: 26-October-12, 23:16:40 »

Hi I'm considering upgrading to windows 8 from windows 7,  my concern is that I will loose my raid in the process, I'm currently running two 60gb Ocz Agility 3 raid 0 on  with raid driver version 3.3.1540.22
does anyone know if it is compatible with windows 8 or will I have to wait for the peeps at MSI to write one?

any info is much appreciated

also sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place

I THINK win 8 has the drivers already. Perhaps you can download the trial if it won't detect the raid array cancel the install.

Backup your data and use software-raid after.
The speed is the same but all Windows versions can use it.

MSI won't make a driver, it's the chipset manufacturer that does that.
