new MSI GE60 disable UEFI?
« on: 28-February-13, 20:52:53 »

When i go into the bios to turn off UEFI by setting it to "legacy" mode , i can no longer boot into windows 8 64 afterwards but get an error saying "non system disc or disc error"  I then put the win 8 recovery disc in hopes that i can simply rebuild the MBR or something, and i get the SAME error meaning that i can no longer even boot from a DVD?  Please help.

The factory Win8 on your notebook is meant for UEFI booting you can't use it in legacy mode.
