Does replacing GPU's thermal paste void warranty?
I have the R9 290 OC gaming edition.
The idle temp for the GPU with 60c and the computer shuts off during gaming, suggesting the temp gets too high during gaming.

as long as you do not damage the card Physically while removing the cooler and re-applying the thermal paste!

if your still worried contact MSI directly! >>How to contact MSI.<<

I checked the card and has a sticker on the screws, saying "warranty void if removed removed".
I read on another thread that warranty with not be affected as long as I have not physically damaged the card. Is this true?

for the most part YES as long as you do not damage it your warranty is fine if you want to ask MSI them self contact them and ask but normally unless there being silly they will allow that as long as you do not cause physical damage while removing the cooler or putting it back on!
