-----'PARVUM KRAIT'-----
« on: 30-March-15, 07:03:58 »

Hi everyone. We have been very lucky in getting a chance to work on further projects for MSI. This time in a larger ATX sized Parvum case. This will let you all get a little look into the further posablities of the Parvum ATX case while showing of some awesome MSI hardware.

Due to the nature of how busy we are with Parvum this will be kept a somewhat photo based project log. I'll be more than happy to answer all questions as we go but the text will be kept to a minimum in the project.

This build is possible with the support of MSI, Hyper X and XSPC.

Main Components:

Case - Custom Parvum ATX
CPU - Intel Unknown
Motherboard - MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition Intel Z97
Memory - Hyper X Unknown
GPU - MSI GTX 960 2GD5T OC
SSD - Hyper X Unknown
PSU - Unknown

First we will take a look at the core components for the build. Not giving too much away here but stay tuned and we will reveal some awesome renders in the next post!

A monumental amount of progress has been made on PARVUM KRAIT over the past few weeks, featuring much watercooling and ATX epicness.

So first lets take a look at all of the water cooling components we shall be using. With literally several black nickel fittings from XSPC and EKWB to hand building a clean and distinctive loop should not be a problem.

What else but gloriously white XSPC AX radiators to bring the harsh KRAIT contrast through into the rest of the case.

The pump which shall be used is an D5-Vario with a stealthy black XSPC acetal top.

With such an expansive radiator area it would probably run quite happily with no fans, but just in case we found 6 or 10 Noiseblocker NB-eLoop's

Something missing here...

That just leaves blocks for the memory and CPU, XSPC's raystorm blocks complimented the motherboard well while not over-powering the standard heatsinks and detailing. The graphics cards won't be including in the loop as we wished to retain their KRAIT branding.

Definitely no case hints to see there ^ this might just be another one though ;)

Don't worry that wasn't EVERYTHING we've been getting up to on PARVUM KRAIT!

No Parvum would be complete without a little bit of HyperX, somehow looking even better in black and white we have 3K SSD.

The moment you've all been waiting for, a relatively gigantic Parvum of the ATX form with plenty of room to accommodate all of the watercooling gear.

Time to bring in the hardware...

Push pull, just because we co... I mean for the substantial thermal performance benefits.

Yes we haz MOAR progress! But this really is all for now.

With all of the components selected and neatly positioned in the case it was time to plan out the loop and prepare to unite all of the components with coolant. At this point the pump and resevoir were propped and we experimented with placement of fittings to carry off the distinctive Parvum rigid acrylic style.

After getting to positions we were happy with the pump was mounted directly to the rear panel of the case.

Next time we will be tubing the loop, mounting the resevoir and hopefully filling the loop for leak testing as well as tidying a few loose ends in the back of the case.

The time has come for final pictures of PARVUM KRAIT, although it has been completed for some time the Parvum team has been very busy with the L1.0 launch and the many other projects and commitments we each have going on. So before it's forgotten and the hectic preparation for another insomnia has passed we thought it appropriate to share some final photographs!

Parvum Systems Inverted M1.0
Intel Maxwell i5-4440
MSI Z97 KRAIT
MSI GTX 960 KRAIT x2
HyperX Savage 1600C9 2x4GB
HyperX 3k 120GB
Silverstone Strider 1500W

XSPC AX240 White
XSPC AX360 White
XSPC Photon 170 Reservoir
XSPC Acetal D5 Top
XSPC Raystorm CPU Block
XSPC Raystorm Memory Block
EK HD Adapter 10/12mm Black Nickel Fittings
EK PSC G1/4" Black Nickel Rotaries
Noiseblocker e-loop 120mm x10

Thank you to MSI, XSPC, HyperX, Mayhems, Silverstone, JR23 and all of the builds followers for your support throughout!

We look forward to hear what you guys think about the build itself and the case, it's something that we intend to make available in the future as a much more compact alternative to the L1.0. Probably in both inverted just like this one and un-inverted too. See you all again soon and thanks for looking.
