Doesn´t work at all? or simply can't stop your left fan unless you do a personalized custom settings on the program and set the first bar right to 0%?

Hello
Wonder is there way to set the minimun fan speed. Currently if I set Basic slider to min fan have speed about 3300 rpm and this is still quite a noise. Would be good to have option to set fan speed in advanced settings.

Thanks

It does not work on GE62-6QD :( Any suggestions? I know it says it supports Skylake i7-6xxx CPU (and mine is 6700HQ), it doesn't work.

It does work !

I own the same model GE62-6QD:

I have the same laptop and the fan profile seems to be working for me except the GPU is detected as 0 degrees so the GPU fan doesn't turn on.

Weirdly if I change the performance shift mode, the gpu temp is detected for a second before switching back to 0 degrees.

Some of you tried it on the MSI GS40 6QE Phantom?

Should work with the named CPU, but I want to ask before I buy.

To much money for an annoying fan.

Thanks a lot!
This works easily on the GS60 2QE (4K), i was seriously already trying to sell the laptop.
I was unable to use the laptop at libraries, now everything is as quite as it should be when surfing and using word.
With some simple settings on the change advance energy settings in windows power settings, my on-battery-life also improved dramatically.

I put fans to 0 unless the cpu/gpu reaches 60°C so this is quiet ALL the time.

Great, great app!
Some go for svets-tuner but for fan-noise this program is just perfect!  ;)

Hey guys,
I installed your software on my GE 72 6QF with Windows 10 and all Drivers up-to-date (Skylake), because for obvious reasons. Good idea, simple program, but I am unable to adjust the CPU fan speed by using the "Basic"-option or "Advanced". I can just decide between turn the fan off (0%) or having it on 3333 rpm (1-60%). I thought with this little program I'd be able to adjust the fan up to around 1500 rpm, so it's not off but turning way slower than before. It's installed as advised, hope for help!

Hi t.eismann.au,

No, it can’t. The fan needs minimum voltage for starting. Therefore, you will 3xxx rpm when fan starts running.

Hi all !

I bought Svets Tuner as soon as I got my GS60 because the fan problem was just too much and I only see now that there is an MSI tool for this ! Is it efficient ? Can I use it in combination with the Svets Tuner installed ?

I don't know why but the fan is now on at low speed even when the computer is idle and I wonder is maybe it's because of the dust settling after a year of use...

Where do you set in software? Could you post a picture for your settings?

Besides, what kind of notebook do you have?

You could try to use latest Help Desk to export the system info and post the text information in here.
