God bless you! It worked on my MSI GE60 2PE!
It froze at 59%, killed setup.exe on Task Manager and now it works fine!

Thank you!!!!

FIX FOR SBC 1

Hi guys,

Thank you all for your suggestions, but nothing of your ideas fixed my SBC 1 freeze problem. I tried the compatibility mode for the setup files and the files in the installation folder, tried the CCleaner registry cleaner, updated Realtek drivers etc.

BUT I FINALLY FOUND A FIX that is working for me.

Just download and install Sound Blaster Cinema 2 without uninstalling SBC 1!   Download link: http://download.msi.com/uti_exe/sbc_2.zip
Before you run the setup, close SBC 1 in the Task Manager.
If the SBC 2 setup stucks at 59% or does not fully install, just close the setup.exe task or process in the Task Manager.
The Sound Blaster Cinema 1 should work now and should not freeze anymore. If not, try to delete the SBCinema.exe.config file in the SBC 1 folder. :)
Hope this works for you too! :)

Tested on a MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro Notebook with Windows 10 64 Bit, Version 1703 (Creators Update)
Worked also in my Z97-G45 Gaming.

Shame NO oficial updated version or fix come to us because this is a little bit bungler and make me think 2 times buy another MSI motherboard again, but, well, thanks.

I've a 970 gaming motherboard. What's the latest version of the SBC 1 software?

The SBC2 is all the way back from 2015.

What's the latest version of that too?

Thank you so much. Confirmed, this is working on a GT60 2OC-22US :)

It didn't work for me initially, but it seems I didn't have the Realtek Drivers (that are available on my Laptop's product page) installed. I installed that and voila, working SBC1.

Steps I followed:
1. Installed SBC1.
2. Rebooted
3. Installed SBC2 (got stuck at 59%) (Disabled SBC2 and Creative Updreg in task manager startup, removed the .config file in SBC1 folder).
4. Rebooted
5. Installed Realtek Drivers.
6. Rebooted
7. Working SBC1
