Hi everyone,

I hope that I am posting in the right section and if not the admin should feel free to move this thread to the right section/sub section).

I am getting this error message on my brand new Nightblade X2 and mysteriously the killer wireless AC1535 connection is gone after a windows update.
Nightblade X2 GTX980 ti specs

So first thing is first, Bios error message:

This annoying error message "Error code1 !! BIOS Not Ready!! Can't connect to BIOS!!" has been there since after windows 10 booted it up for the first time ever (day 1). I thought this was probably because of some driver needs updating. So did a windows update in the first 5 min and after rebooting windows could not start so re-installed windows after literally setting it up for the first time after unboxing this lovely X2. Windows or MSI to blame? sounds like both but why the error message on a new 2k dollars X2?
This error message does appear once I log into windows after entering my password. But the funny thing is it does not show every time I start and use my PC. So i forget about it and when it shows up I just click ok and continue using my X2 normally. Does the BIOS needs updating? is it normal to get this error message? Should I return this brand new MSI?

Second thing (could be related to the BIOS error that's why it is mentioned in this thread)
The msi Nightblade X2 comes with the killer software (killer E2400 gigabit Ethernet+AC1535 wireless) which was working fine (aside from that the wifi was sometimes not automatically connecting) till one day after doing a windows 10 update to find that the killer wireless AC1535 network connection was no where to be found. No way to connect via wifi. Found only "wireless AC1535" driver in control panel but it was hidden (had to click view/show unhidden to see it under the Network card) so i thought i should uninstall/install it then reboot and then update the driver and that would fix it but I guess this was a huge mistake.
I did everything mentioned in the book to get "wireless AC1535" driver back (uninstall/install the killer software, uninstall/install the standard Non killer drivers, re-installing windows 10...you name it).

Should mention that the MSi gaming app was updated to the latest version because I read somewhere that the bios error message is related but it did not help in my case. The PC has only Netflix, SonyVegas and Microsoft photos & videos app installed besides the default apps which comes with windows 10 and MSI.

Are these two issues somehow related in any way?
I started with bios error message on day 1 and now after a couple of months, there is a another problem.
What should I do? I spent over a week now trying to find a solution but I just gave up and thought to post here as a cry for help. Or should I just return this brand new MSI?

Thanks.

Hi Gamer,

We're sorry about the issue you faced , our technical team will let you know how to solve it on this topic!
It seems remove old Gaming center and install the latest version , but our technical team would have total solutions to you.

May I know your Nightblade X2's PN number ?
Some kind of 9S6-B10611-XXX  ,it's on Nightblade's color box.

Thanks

It turns out that I did not have the gaming center. So I installed the latest one and voila. Rebooted the PC twice and the BIOS error message is gone now.
Thank you so much. You guys really made my day.
I will keep monitoring and will report back on the weekend.

Again thank you both. Really Appreciate it.
