Live Music

Would these models also be good to run live music applications? I use Ableton Live 9 and several 3rd party VST's within in and it takes a lot of CPU to run live through a keyboard.

Live audio editing needs high CPU power and less latency.
In general, MSI has WT/WE/WS workstation series so far, WT series is most powerful and heavy, and it can extend 3~4 SSD to build the fatest RAID 0 storage, plus the 4 memory slots.
And WT is really heavy.

WS can only install 2 SSD plus 2 memory, but it is slim and portable.
WE is the model of entry level.

So I think at least you need to buy a system with I7 CPU, 2 memory module 16Gx2, and better get a RAID 0 storage (SSDx2)
