Slow transfer across network
« on: 26-June-17, 08:43:42 »

I have a WT72 2OM-1047 computer. I have 2 SSD drives and 1 normal HDD. When I copy files to the server across the wireless network my transfer rate is extremely slow, like in the Kb range. I have tried this from the HDD and both SSD's and there is no difference. The IT guy says there is no network issue. I have also un-installed Killer networking suite and used the pure drivers for the network card installation but that did not change anything. Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas of what to try? This is extremely annoying to copy files on a daily basis at such a slow speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried the same task on a different device?

any slow HDD can still exceed that Kb transfer speed you mentioned.
so i think it's more likely to be a network problem, just not sure whether it's caused by the server(or router) or the laptop.
a cross comparison with a second device should clarify the issue.
