WiFi is not working when on battery
« on: 03-February-18, 02:35:59 »

Hi

I bought the new laptop couple of days back.
MSI PE62 7RD

It came with DOS. So I used ISO from Microsoft site to boot my laptop.
Windows 10 v1709

I updated with latest drivers too.

I see WiFi is not working when I use my laptop on battery.

Please help !!

Check power settings and networking settings.  I've seen that before, Windows turns off networking (WiFi) to save power when only running on battery.
Change the power setting or networking setting to allow WiFi even when running on battery.

I checked the power settings.
Gave maximum performance to WiFi under advanced power settings.

Still no luck .. :(

It may be a setting in Networking somewhere.  Check both WiFi and networking options.

Issue is with proxy server getting on automatically.
Used Malwarebytes software. It removed some junk. And it started working.
Thanks sunscreen for the help. !!
