MSI Gaming M5 Z270 (event log error)
« on: 13-March-18, 14:26:23 »

Hi all I have had a few MSI boards and I have now come to be an owner of the M5 Gaming z270 board, Everything is good mostly, I have a 7600k in it. However in my even log I see this error:

2018-03-13 10:34:17,374 [9] ERROR ProviderManager.SecurepayBcaProvisioner - Exception during BCA-SGX provisioning
System.Runtime.InteropServices.SEHExcep tion (0x80004005): External component has thrown an exception.
   at Intel.Pabe.Factor.SgxProvider.AbortProv ision(SgxProvider* , UInt32 )
   at BCAXInterface.SgxProvider.Provision(String provisionUrl, String providerUrl)
   at ProviderManager.SecurepayBcaProvisioner .<>c__DisplayClass16_0.<StartProvisioningAsync>b__0()

It happens about every 15-60 minutes apart. Any ideas?

It is a fresh install, new board new CPU, on a 960 NVME drive. Everything is pretty much new tbh. Also, happens with SGX enabled/disabled/auto set in bios I have tried all 3 options.

Latest Bios from website and IME drivers from website as well. However I now have installed 11.7.0.40 and the error has went away. I have been running it now for about 7 hours and it hasn't come back, the latest drivers on the website for the board should be looked at, there is something with the intel connect I think it was called that is causing the issues after hours of research.
