Hello, yesterday I opened up my MSI gt70 and cleaned up the dust, but since then the fan is randomly going super fast as well as the CPU temp randomly going very high and then getting back to normal within seconds. In the screenshot you see normal temp but it can go up to 90 in 2 sec for absolutly no reason, each time I open a new tab in firefox for example and then the fan start accelerating

I also bought the following SSD 2.5' wich is compatible according to Crucial website (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B0786QNS9B/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). What do I need to buy to install this SSD (watch the second picture). I found on the website where I bought my MSI that it doesnt have mSATA connector, I dont know what that mean !

I bought some thermal paste to clean and replace the old one on the cpu, finally I updated to BIOS to the last version yesterday

I am a hardware newbie, Many thanks !

The little Thing is not important,it is from the Heatsink.
You only needs to take the SSD into the Sata Connector, normally is there  a small HDD Holder.
It fits also with a small rubber to press it on the Backplate.

If there is a Adapter with 3 Sockets like the Video it is the Super Raid Adapter for Msata SSD`s.

Okay thanks

And the the big empty bay (right next to your red rectangle) is for another HDD ? Can I use it to add a second SSD later with some kind of adapter ?

There You can use another HHD/SSD,You don`t need a Adapter.
If You don`t have the HDD Holder use a small Rubber to keep it in Position.
