Hi Community!

I received my monitor yesterday and while I was using it I noticed light flickering on the screen.
I know this monitor is fresh but does anyone recognize this problem?
Most of the time when I see the flickering is in games but it also appears when I'm on the windows desktop.

Overall I like the monitor and if there is a fix or if MSI is aware of this problem and in the work to fix it I will keep the monitor, otherwise, it goes back to the store.

I'm running the monitor on a GTX1080 card with an i5-7600k processor.

Best Regards,
Mattias

Hi

Try different cable. Also do not use any video adapters (e.g. VGA => HDMI).
If above doesn't help, RMA the monitor. >>How to contact MSI.<<

99% of issues would be solved if people would read the manual first.

Hi,

Thanks for the response.
I've tried another cable, this time HDMI instead of DisplayPort but it's the same.
Since I got 60 days return policy on it I will return it to the provider and save up some more cash to buy the next tier monitors.

Best Regards,

Hi,

It seems like it is FreeSync causing the flickering and since I'm using Nvidia it might be a problem in the latest driver.
I will try to reinstall graphics drivers and see if that fixes anything and give you an update.

Best regards
