Hello there!

I was wondering if others had this issue as well. My ethernet connection keeps disconnecting periodically (not sure when but it happens on a consistent regular basis) where the internet disconnects, kicks me out of games, and connects right after. The issue does not exist on my Macbook via WiFi. Is this a known issue with Intel's driver or could it be my ethernet cable? I am using latest intel drivers (tried the one from Intel's official site and also the one listed here https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B450-GAMING-PRO-CARBON-AC#down-driver&Win10%2064)

Could it be my ethernet cable?
1/ Yes, it could!
I would try with another cable. If problem remains, I would then move the pc near the router, to connect it directly with the cable alone, and retry.
2/ Another possibility is periodic high load of the router by another device. If you have devices connected, disconnect all except the pc, restart the router and verify.
Good luck,
:hat tip:

  • THIS SPACE IS FOR RENT.

I had some ethernet troubles with this same board... changing my old CAT5e cable for a brand new CAT6 solved the problem, so I second that as a possible solution.
