error 45 on gtx 1060 display adapter ge72 vr apache pro

It says to reconnect the hardware but ive never messed with the inside of my laptop since purchase the display driver shows up as hidden in device manager and displays error 45. it does not recognize the gpu in GeForce or in the NVidia driver installer but it says it compleed updating the driver through windows in device manager. it also has this on events:Device PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1C20&SUBSYS_11D71462&REV_A1\4&7d74113&0&0008 requires further installation.
but its from 2016. I just recently recovered my hard drive through the msi recovery usb I purchased from msi so that the display driver would show up as it was missing before hand and I have no idea why. any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

best thing you can do is let msi service it,
had that problem once before and they replaced the motherboard cause the
graphics card was faulty.

problem is its out of warranty by a little bit so I need an at home solution if possible.
