Help from Gaming Community or Other
« on: 17-October-18, 15:59:20 »

I am currently running a Intel Core i7 CPU 970 @3.20 GHZ with 12 MB of ram. I have inside my Ibuypower desktop a Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti and I am wondering what is the possibility that I can run the GeForce GTX 1080 Armor 8G?

I get good graphics as is but am wondering if I will notice any difference between the two cards? I play World of Warcraft pretty much all the time since I am Retired.

If it is already working with a GTX 750 Ti it should be compatible. Note that you need a far more powerful psu than for the old card. What psu do you have?

For performance the GTX 1080 is worlds faster than the GTX 750 Ti. Yes you will notice it (quite much). It will allow for maximum details and high resolutions. As the gpu demand of World of Warcraft is quite low The GTX 1080 is of course a bit overkill for just that old game.

I have a 750 w power supply but if you think it wouldn't greatly improve things with World of Warcraft then I will stay with my old one. I do play FFXIV on occasion but that is about it.

750w psu should be sufficient, depending on how many peripherals  too of course.
