I tried uploading the second screen but I can't.

It had:
Windows 10
Windows Boot Manager (On volume 2)
UEFI: IP4 Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (H) l219-v
UEFI: IP6 Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (H) l219-v
Windows Boot Manager (On volume 6)
CD/DVD Drive

I just want to have Windows 10 and Windows 7 back as the only options again.

Hello,
I believe that Windows has (again) badly tried to upddate to 1809! :angryfire:
Enter in bios setup and verify: "SETTINGS \ Boot \ Boot Mode Select" = "UEFI"
Run EasyBCD, click on "Edit Boot Menu" and show what is displayed.

Hello,
EasyBCD display is good and does not correspond to what you show in your previous post.
1/ Uncheck the "Use Metro bootloader" checkbox and save. What do you see now at boot?
2/ Have you changed something in bios parameters? Is "SETTINGS \ Boot \ Boot Mode Select" = "UEFI"? Does "SETTINGS \ Boot \ Boot Option Priorities" correspond to your boot drive?
3/ Enter in Disk Manager and copy the upper part of the window showing all physical disks and partitions.
Friendy yours,

Hello again,

Sorry for the late reply.
It's a family thing.

I unclicked the Metro Loader and when booting up, came the black screen but with the same other drives like it shows on the Metro Loader.
No, I have not changed the BIOS, only to restore to defaults and change to UEFI setting before I posted the problem.

Here is the screenshot of the requested Disk Managment setup.

Hi again,

Sorry, I'm slightly confused on what you told me to do.

Write what on what? Do you mean add/change/remove a drive letter and what do you mean during post, you mean when I'm at the BIOS boot startup screen?

Sorry for this as there is a lot going on in my personal life I have not had much time to sort out my PC so understanding Boot startup and everything is sort of fading lol :D

Hello,

Write what on what?
Take your screen copy, open it in Paint and annotate what is the drive with Windows 7, this with Windows 10 and what is the drive you want to use as boot drive.

During boot, just when MSI spash screen displays, press <F11> and take a photo: it will show what devices have a boot loader and what is this selected by default.

No problem, go back when you will have more time.

Hello,
1/ In the list displayed when you press <F11> during post, do you see the SSD with the W10 partition? If yes, when you select it, is the boot menu like this you had at the beginning?
2/ A photo of the list displayed with <F11> should help.

Hello,
Good!
At power on, press <F11> when the MSI logo displays. You would see a menu with the 3 entries shown in your previous post.
1/ Select "Wind... (P1: Samsung...) => How is the start menu?
2/ Redo but select this time "Wind... (P5: ST1000D...) => How is the start menu?
Be cautious, in the 2 cases, if you see a message telling that loader must be repaired, stop by powering off.
Good luck,

Hello,

1) The 2TB Samsung is my Windows 7 drive, wouldn't I need to re-select the 1TB drive(Windows 10)?
2) Redo?? And P5: ST1000D drive is just my main storage drive for stuff like pictures, music etc.

And be caustious? :o

I thought I would need to re-arrange the Boot Priorities.

Yes, I have understood that: SSD 1TB includes the Win10 partition, SSD 2TB includes the Win7 partition and HDD includes the storage partition. Nevertheless, perhaps the Boot Loader partition (EFI) you are using since the beginning is not on the SSD 1TB but on another drive. That is why I have suggested to press [F11] after power on to try another drives's EFI:
- As I can see in the last photo, if you let the pc to start normaly, the EFI used is this on the SSD 1TB (P0).
- If you select the 3rd (P1), the EFI used is this on the SSD 2TB. Do you see only Windows 7 and 10 entries or something else?
- If you select the 2nd (P5), the EFI used is this on the HDD. Do you see only Windows 7 and 10 entries or something else?
Have a good day,

Hello again,

I've tried to do you're suggestion but the only options availible in F11 mode are my 1TB Windows 10 drive and the option to "Enter Setup".

Ideas what to do from here?

Hello,

1/ In boot menu, when you click on the Windows 7 entry, does Windows 7 start as you want? Same question with Windows 10?
2/ Run EasyBCD, click on "View Settings", extend the window to see all entries in the right panel and do a copy.

Hello,

1) Yes, Windows 7 & 10 loads up okay when selected.
2) In "View Settings" it says that there are only two displays. Here is what it says on the right-hand pannel.

"There are a total of 2 entries listed in the bootloader.

Default: Windows 10
Timeout: 30 seconds
EasyBCD Boot Device: C:\

Entry #1
Name: Windows 10
BCD ID: {current}
Drive: C:\
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.efi

Entry #2
Name: Windows 7
BCD ID: {81ab9304-f66a-11e8-940c-fadb686bd3df}
Device: \Device\HarddiskVolume8
Bootloader Path: \Windows\system32\winload.efi
"

I keep thinking the solution might lay in the BIOS menu, in Boot Priorities, I could be wrong.

Hello,
Do a clear CMOS:
- Power off PSU, unplug the power cord and wait that all mobo's leds light off.
- Either
    . short JBAT1 during at least 20s
(if you have not a jumper cap, use something like a screwdriver but be cautious to touch only the 2 pins of JBAT1) or
. remove the battery cell during 30mn.
- Plug the power cord and power on.
- You would see a message. Choose to enter in Bios Setup.
Set "SETTINGS \ Advanced \ Windows OS Configuration \ Windows 10 WHQL Support" at "Enabled" (or "UEFi").
Press <F10>, confirm and pc should reboot.
- Enter again in Bios Setup. Goto "SETTINGS \ Boot \ Boot Options Priorities". Disable all except "UEFI Hard Disk" who is set as Boot Option #1.
Result?

And, have you set "Disabled" to all other entries (Boot Option #2 an next), haven't you? Clearly, all entries you see now is the loader menu correspond to those of your previous screen copy:

Re: B150A Gaming Pro MB - Run two OS's??

And, have you set "Disabled" to all other entries (Boot Option #2 an next), haven't you? Clearly, all entries you see now is the loader menu correspond to those of your previous screen copy:
[ ERROR: SPECIFIED ATTACHMENT MISSING ]
:confused2:

Hello,

Yes, the other two are disabled, just P0 that is needed has an option.

Maybe, would updating the motherboard BIOS help or is that pointless?

You have already the last bios retailed version so I would be surprised that its reload will change something. Nevertheless, at this step, the other option is to clear and recreate Windows Loader (BCD database) and I am afraid to do that knowing that you can yet use Windows 7 and Windows 10... So Ok, try to reload it but doing exactly that:
- Download >>Bios V1.G0<<.
- Take an USB pen having no more than 16GB (physical size) with only one partition.
   Verify it with CHKDSK.
- Unzip it and copy the file "E7978IMS.1G0" on the root of the USB pen.
- Boot and enter in Bios Setup. Press [F6], confirm, press [F10] and confirm. Pc should restart.
- Enter again in Bios Setup.
- Plug the USB pen into one port on the back panel (better to use a 2.0).
- Click on M-Flash then select the file on the USB pen.
- M-Flash should start; be cautious to not abort it before the end (can last up to 5mn).
- Power off PSU, unplug the power cord and wait that all mobo's leds light off.
- Enter again in bios setup
. Enable "SETTINGS \ Advanced \ Windows OS Configuration \ Windows 10 WHQL Support"
. Click on "SETTINGS \ Boot \ Boot Options Priorities" and disable all except "UEFI Hard Disk" who must be set as "Boot Option #1"
. Same for "UEFI Hard Disk Drives BBS Priorities": disable all except "Windows Boot Manager (P0: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB)"
(change nothing else for the moment).
Result?
Hoping it shall help,

Hello, sorry for long wait.

If updating the MB is pointless I won't do it, especaily when you sound worried by saying you're worried to do so. Why? Would I lose data?

Either way, if there is a chance of something going wrong, I don't want to take the risk. Sorry.
I hope you have other ideas.

No, it is not the reload of bios who worry me. Do it (but follow exactly what I explained) and we will see if it resolves your problem...
It is the other suggest who worry me: erase the BCD then recreate it. It is not really riskly but must be done step by step with caution.
Friendly yours,

Would removing the letters from the Drives fix it just out of curiousity?

I looked on Disk Management and both drives have a letter.

No, it will not! Boot drives listed in Windows Loader and those shown in Windows Explorer (because they have a letter) are managed differently.
Have a good day,
