Why didn't MSI put into their new GS75 a Mini-DisplayPort?? How come GS65 has it but GS75 doesn't.
I have
MSI GS73VR-7RG Stealth Pro and 2 MSI monitors (MAG24C) connected via USB C (thunderbolt3) and Mini-DisplayPort in order to have 144Hz refresh rate which is not supported by HDMI connection. The maximum HDMI currently can give is 120HR.
IMHO I would sacrifice that microSD slot and relplace it with a Mini-DisplayPort.
I've been thinking to get this new GS75 as a replacement for my current GS73 but now I'm not sure...

GT75 Titan looks like the most favourable since I wanted the 2080 (not Ti?) and an i9 but would want a true 8K laptop display in a 18.4".

Yeah not happy about the exclusion on the Mini Display-Port but where the heck is the Pre-Key RGB keyboard on the far more expensive GS75? Should not the top tier laptops get the best?!? :(

As you notice below I have a v.high end MSI Laptop from Oct'2015 so will be looking for another down the road but likely now want a 18.4" with 2080+ GPUs, i9, and much more (ie. 8K display) but, still waiting..

Man, you are a real fan of MSI. I hope MSI could see this suggestion and take it.
But unluckily... Seems like they already launch the GS75...

So THIS looks like the one to get (GT75 Titan 8SG). Has everything I want except for 18.4" and 8K screen.

Anyone see anything missing that should be there?

These features interest me:

o NVMe PCIe Gen3
o Bluetooth v5
o NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 2080 with 8GB GDDR6
o Per-Key RGB Backlight Keyboard
o Ports: 1x Type-C (USB3.1 Gen2 / DP / Thunderbolt™3), 5x Type-A USB3.1 Gen2, 1x RJ45, 1x SD (XC/HC), 1x (4K @ 60Hz) HDMI, 1x Mini-DisplayPort

Would like to see a 64Gb RAM model but 32Gb (what I currently have) is pretty good.

++GS75 RTX with larger resolution please!

My needs are graphical/CAD/design/creative/mapping business and gaming. GTX 1070 is currently pretty good, the RTX 2060 (apparent equivalent to GTX 1070 Ti) with larger than 1080p (anything at any Hz) would be an awesome mobile and featured config, great performance, and attractively priced!

17.3"
Thin bezel, thin/light laptop
3K or 4K
60Hz/120Hz/144Hz <- as a business and gaming user happy to sacrifice Hz for more Resolution
16:9 or 16:10 ratio
RTX 2060 for value

Then, in 2021, will trade in for a RTX 3000, with 4k / 144Hz, no-bezel :D

RTX 2080 + gen 8 core i7 on slim GS75 ? I'm quite interested in its 3D performance delivered and heard about its long battery hour design. A larger touch pad is another key feature with silky smooth touch feeling, and more than 10 gestures of win10 also been covered.

The new GS75 looks almost perfect for me.  I agree with Autobot though: I need a 1440p or higher resolution screen option to be able to both work and play on this.  Instabuy with that.

Its getting close for me.. 8K laptop screen would be real nice but maybe not technically possible until next year. Also has to be overclockable which the GT75 Titan is but will wait on the GS77.

I like this GS75. May be the replacement for my GT73. Does anyone know if the motherboard is flipped upside down like the GS65? I thought I had seen someone in a video at CES say it isn't, but a recent video showing the bottom, if you look through the air vents it looks like it is. I hope not. Deal breaker for me.

The GS75 Stealth is nice, but MSI needs to do something more to stand out.  So many companies have the same thing or very similar.
PLEASE MSI:
-17 inch screen with 1440P or retina resolution.  1080P is great for gaming, but not much else.  Even on a 15 inch laptop, 1080P does not look good for productivity, browsing, etc.
4K is too high, but better than 1080P.   The screen needs to be >= 1440P with > 60Hz or gsync.  The GT75 Titan is nice, but it is way too huge to carry around.
-Put the speakers upward facing.
-Put the power plug & thunderbolt 3 on the back or top left, not the right side near where most people use the mouse (I know the power plug as moved to the left side with recent models).
-Put a FULL sized SD card reader.  Why did you go Micro or none on some laptops?
-Keep thunderbolt 3 port.
-2080 max-q
-Thin

If MSI made this laptop, they would sell a ton of them as it would be the Macbook killer.  MSI would have a laptop awesome at productivity, gaming, and portability.
I have a GS65, it is my favorite Windows computer, but what I listed above is what bothers me about it.

Macbook pros have amazing sound, great resolution, and are great for productivity.  Of course they are not good at gaming.  MSI has the opportunity to make something high quality and unique.

Thanks,
JK4K

With such poor service from their tech lab, I would atay miles away from buying any future MSI gaming laptops.
Each time the laptop was shipped with new problems, it's unbelievable that such big company doesn't have QA before shipping products back to client.

It doesn't fee like the company cares about their clients.
