Problem with Nahimic
« on: 08-January-19, 04:18:40 »

Hello, people,

I've got a horrific problem with my brand new Aegis 3 8rc-013eu. I realized that my computer was running out of space on the SSD, without doing anything. I was concerned, and looking all around the computer, I found where the problem was. It's the Nahimic Log file system. When you go to C:\ProgramData\MSI\NahimicController, you see many log files, with a huge amount of data, that keeps increasing, no matter if you do anything on your computer or not. I've tried to reinstall the drivers, update the drivers, disable the service, etc. without any luck.

Please, I need an answer for this problem, I'm a little bit desperated.

Please update gaming center to 0.0.2.76.
1.Remove older MSI utility-GamingCenter on control panel.
2.Remove this file on Nahimic folder.
3.Rebooting.
4.Install latest MSI utility-GamingCenter v0.0.2.76.

Please check your mail for getting gaming center to 0.0.2.76.

I have this same problem too. Was looking through for what is so fragmented in my hard drive and found 2 NahimicController log files that were over 10 gigs. What is the problem here and why is it eating up my free space? And most importantly, how do I fix it? Do I even need Nahimic

FAQ-My 500 GB c drive was full. Nahimic controller creates extremely large log files, more than 40 GB.

Wait, I lied, it was 120 GIGs. LITERALLY. :censored: is going on! I deleted the log files and gaming center and currently installing the .78 gaming center from MSI website. Why the hell was that happening? And will this actually keep it from happening or am I returning my MSI computer?

Just saw your reply when I posted my 2nd comment.
I’ve NEVER seen 3 log files totally 151 Gigs and I’ve been working with computers half my life, why was this happening?
