A68HM-E33 V2 Overclocking
« on: 10-January-19, 09:59:08 »

Hey guys, I'm new to the overclocking so apologies upfront.
I just replaced my old ASRock with an MSI motherboard. The overclocking was simple in the ASRock but the MSI board seems to have everything set at [AUTO] and I am unable to adjust it.
I wanted to raise the BCLK and maybe the RAM speed but not sure how to unlock the setting adjustment.
Any suggestions?

BTW, is there an idiots guild to overclocking with MSI motherboards on this forum?

Specs

MSI A68HM-E33 V2
AMD APU A8-7650K (4 x 3.8GHz CPUs - plus 6 x Radeon R7 GPU)

16GB DDR3-1600 Memory

NVIDIA GeForce 750ti

I'm not sure if an entry level FM2(+) board like A68HM-E33 allows oc at all. Try +/- keys of numpad to adjust settings.

I can overclock using the MSI Commander software, but I want to do it at the BIOS level.

Yes, and I already said:

Software oc is of course not the oc I meant and overclocking with software doesn't mean the board's bios has these options.

I've heard some people say to disable the "Spread Spectrum" and "Cool 'n' Quite" features first before it will let you adjust.
