New options needed in MSI Dragon Center
« on: 09-February-19, 12:22:14 »

I am a happy MSI GL63 8RC owner, and I love that Dragon Center changes the color profile whenever I play League of Legends. But I also read and code a lot on this notebook, many times at night. I was wondering if you guys can add a reading mode as a color profile? Anti Blue color profile sometimes causes text in my pdf files to look slightly thinner. I think contrast and brightness levels need a bit tuning.

Also, can you let us add new games to Game mode manually or add new games support to it? Maybe let people create profiles and share them in Game mode?

Update your EC Firmware, then update the MSI True Color.
You might need to update your BIOS as well.

Yeah, MSI True Color worked! I like the Anti Blue profile in Reading mode with it. :hypocrite:
Also, the designer mode and movie mode also seem to have better profiles in them and colors look really good!
Thanks! ;-))

my 28inch benq monitor looked brownish compared to my other two displays. so i found a setting in the menu called color temperature and changed it from normal to bluish. now it looks about the same as my other two displays. i think the normal level in the benq was not accurate but already had some low blue light effect built in due to the awareness that blue light is bad

but i just use windows 10 night light to remove a ton of blue light from the displays at night an hour before bed on schedule setting
