Fan control questions on RTX 2060
« on: 12-February-19, 08:06:41 »

I Just installed yesterday a new MSI RTX 2060 Ventus 6G OC card to replace my GTX 970 card.  I also have and have been using MSI afterburner with my 970 card and was able to plot a graph and control fan speed while gaming.  I play RFactor 2 with 3 screens.  new RTX card cuts usage by 30% - BUT - It seems I Can Not Control the fan speed??  why not?
Should I be able to adjust fan speed using MSI Afterburner with my new RTX 2060 card?
If Yes, can you give me ideas of what i am doing wrong?

I presume it is 4.5.0
i checked before i installed my card that Afterburner was up to date and just now and both times it says it is the latest version.   if 4.5.0 is not the version number, please tell me where to find it.
after you hit setting tab, i find there is NO "fan" tab as before.  also on the front of Afterburner  where it says fan speed, the auto can not be clicked - it does nothing.  where before you could put it in manual mode.
when i say before - i mean with my GTX970.
