I am currently living in Japan and purchased my current PC from a Japanese company called PC-Koubou,
At the moment I am having trouble finding MSI utility softwares that would work with my motherboard.
CPU-Z and HWiNFO64 give MouseComputer Co.,Ltd. Z370M-S01 for the model, and the S/N I found on the board also was recognized by https://register.msi.com/product as a Z370M-S01 motherboard.
The thing is, the only official MSI site for this motherboard is from China as the following URL would lead me to believe: https://cn.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z370M-S01

Anyway I tried downloading the MSI utility softwares from that website (APP Manager, Command Center, Live Update, Gaming APP) but none worked.
The softwares all refuse to launch due to "not supported platform" or something along that line.

After some googling, I found this thread (https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=283828.0) with a list of older versions of MSI applications, but they don't seem to be compatible with my motherboard either.

At the end of the day, I simply want a way to control LED strips through the JRGB1 header on the motherboard (so software other than MSI Gaming APP would be fine too).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No MSi software does apply to it as only MSI retail products are covered. You have an oem product only the manufacturer of your pc provides support for. That is also why CPU-Z does not recognize it being an MSI product. This forum does also just cover MSI retail products.

Hey flobelix, thank you for your reply. That basically confirmed my suspicion that there's no official support from MSI for my particular motherboard.
