GTX 1660ti Gaming X is STILL unsupported
« on: 19-March-19, 23:12:21 »

Just got my card in the mail today and it's stuck on rainbow-puke mode by default.

Downloaded and installed the latest online version available of Dragon Center (1.0.0.35), ran the update scan, updated JUST dragon center (to 1.0.0.36), let everything update, then ran the update scan again and let it install Mystic Light 1.0.0.05.
Everything updates and the RGB Mystic light option appears in Dragon Center, but when I open it it's completely grayed out.

Check online to see if there's a more recent version available of Mystic Light (since I know it's also standalone), there is! I uninstall Dragon Center, delete the MSI file, reboot, install Mystic Light 3.0.0.50 , reboot again.

When I try to open Mystic Light I'm met with this

I double checked this on 2 different installs of Win10 on 2 different drives (I keep a spare incase my C drive dies) to make sure it's not something buggy on Windows end, so it is easily replicable with this card.

I'm running an FX 8350 on a Gigabite GA-870A-USB3L-rev-31 (waiting out RAM prices),
but are you telling me that I can't use RGB on my GRAPHICS CARD because I haven't upgraded to AM4 yet?

I'm really hoping that it's just because this GPU literally JUST launched and it's just straight up unsupported, I also noticed temp monitoring in Dragon Center doesn't work so that further leads my suspicion that it's just not fully supported.

None of the Youtube reviewers had changed the RGB (that I have seen) so maybe I'm not alone?

Multiple updates since, still nothing. Fresh copy of windows doesn't help either.

Guessing I'm just stuck upgrading my platform.

More updates, still not working. Does MSI not care?
I contacted support and they shrugged me off. Not impressed.
