Recently I want to update a BIOS,I can't find a details about the current v30.4 BIOS.
And I found out that my P23 BIOS has been wrong for so many years. What?
I have been using the P21 BIOS v30.4,and now the latest is v30.9.Why is this?

The latest BIOS of my motherboard is v28.a.
In my case,if i update the BIOS,is it necessary to choose P23 v28.a or P21 v30.9 BIOS?
I have decided to m-flash the right bios v28.a(A7592IMS.SA0),but cannot, even I choice the m-flash function as BOOT aslo failed.
so what should do???
I can see the bios update file v30.9(A7592IMS.U90) for p21 in usb, but,my mainboard is p23!

tell S/N of the mainboard
also list full BIOS ID (look for it under bios setup, or during BIOS post screen press a pause to see it)

wmic baseboard
it shows "To Be Filled By O.E.M." under SerialNumber.

I can't find out the BIOS ID under bios setup, and during the bios screen,my first screen is a big logo MSI G41M-P23,after it windows,so i disable the quick boot,it showing msi-mainboard A7592IMS V30.4 111210...etc,i can't see the american megatrends inc (AMI) BIOS loading.
i use MotherboardID Utility (MBID) tool is show the d7-error:system doesn't support.

I found a way on google, rename the bios to AMIBOOT.ROM,does it work for me?

Can you also check and tell the ERP number:
The ERP number is located on the side of the last PCI slot near the edge of the motherboard
ERP number: 010 as listed under M/LOT,
