Z390-A Pro CROM battery/Boot issues
« on: 05-February-20, 05:23:07 »

So I recently assembled a computer with the Z390-A Pro as the motherboard, since building it I've had trouble booting it, it boots up it just doesn't for 5-10 minutes. I narrowed the issue down to the CROM battery, it either came dead or something had killed it, I replaced it and the computer booted normally. A week later the problem came back, replaced the battery again, didn't do anything this time. As far as I can tell it is something with the mobo, specifically something to do with the CROM or connections to the CROM and I don't know how to fix it since replacing it isn't working anymore(although it did). The only thing I can think of is the high voltage since I'm in the UK but the PSU should handle that otherwise. I'm worried that I received a faulty mobo since I've had this problem since day 1.
