Msi radeon VII
« on: 22-April-19, 19:36:06 »

I find kinda weird there no topic on Msi radeon VII.
After almost 2 weeks having bought one .I'm kinda scared of the temperture.
On msi afterburner I have 65 degree but on mining software it says I'm like 85 degree
hopefully I undervolted it cause i would reach easly 105 degree and more should I be worried about it ???
are there so futur upgrade drivers or stuff that well fix things or should i look elsewhere to fix those high tempeture or should I return it?
hoping for some reply to re assure me thanks.

Actually not as there are very little numbers sold compared to the nvidia cards and mainstream RX 570/580 cards.

These temps are very normal temperatures and what is to be expected from a Radeon VII.

The gpu can't reach that high temps as it would shutdown earlier.

those cards seems to run very hot 100C-110C range [have a high operation temp]
and start throttling at 115C
seeing similar results everywhere
etc appear to be expected temps from this GPU with that generic cooler
