I've experiencing problems moving files out of two Maxtor Diamond Plus 9 drives ULTRA DMA stripped on a RAID 0 configuration. I was able to transfer files into the RAID, but whenever I try to copy or move them into my booting WD Raptor SATA Drives I get the message above:

"Cannot copy file: The request could not be perfomed because of an I/O Device error"

Any idea about this?

I want to reset the RAID again, but first I need to figure out how to get a backup of those important files residing in the stripped RAID drives.....

My system:

ATHLON 64
MSI K8T NEO
CORSAIR TWINX1024-3200LLPT
2 x WD Raptor 10,000 rpm 35 GB SATA
2 x Maxtor Ultra DMA 133 160 GB
