Hello,
Do exactly that:
- Download >>Bios V1.80<<.
- Copy the extracted file "E7B85AMS.180" in an empty USB pen having no more than 16GB and only 1 FAT32 (not FAT) partition.
- Rename "E7B85AMS.180" to "MSI.ROM".
- Power off.
- Plug the pen in the Flashback+ port on the back panel (see figure 1).
- Power on and wait 5s.
- Press the Flash Bios button on the back panel (see figure).
The Flash Bios LED should flash quickly 3-30 times, light off 10-90s, then flash slowly (+ USB pen light if there is).
. If it does, be patient because load process can run up to 10mn.
. Else, try with another USB pen (Flashback+ does not recognize some models; I don't know why).
- If Flashback+ has goodly ended, power off PSU, unplug the power cord and wait 10s after all mobo's leds light off.
2/ If all tries were unsuccessful, redo all #1 but this time with >>Bios V1.70<< (E7B85AMS.170). If it works, you will then be able to update to V1.80 using M-Flash...
Hoping it shall help,

hello, not helped, every time have 2 blink and after Always turn on red.
for test-i try FAT = Blink 3 times.
FAT32
on pressing flashback button, board would power up CPU and RAM momentarily, shut it off, and then flash the flashback+ red LED 2 times, and then remain solid on the 3rd flash.

Hello,
Unplug/unconnect ALL except the PSU connected to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1. Use an empty USB pen having no more than 16GB (physical size) and only 1 FAT32partition. If you have, try with an USB 2.0 pen.

hi all
i try all possible
  • formatted USB as FAT32
  • tried formatting USB with MBR and GPT partition table formats
  • tried various different block size configurations, 512B to 4096B
  • USB has an LED to indicate drive activity, definitely seems as though mobo is performing reads on the drive every time I press the flashback button
  • ensure drive is always plugged into the flashback+ USB port (right next to the flashback button)
  • ensured MSI.ROM file is the only file on the drive (confirmed with ls -a)
  • verified md5sum of MSI.ROM file on USB drive is the same as my downloaded copy on every attempt
  • tried 5 different USB drives (2GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB) i have now 8 usb PEN.
  • tried clearing CMOS by removing battery for 30 minutes
  • and every time 2 times blink  and after and then remain solid on the 3rd flash, CPU RED in EZDEBUG.

Just making sure, you did extract the file E7B85AMS.180 from the zip file?
I think when flashback+ "finish" it try to boot your motherboard that is why you get the CPU light.

yes, i unzip file.
I collected everything in , connected a video card, and the system gives me an image. EZDebug is always red, tried 3 times at once.
Maybe Bios updated? therefore, it flashes 2 times and tries to start the system. Error in CPU?

No the CPU error is when it boots up after flash fail.
Not much to do.
If you have some place to test it with another older CPU, if not contact MSI support, or start RMA with your supplier.

It sounds like you are trying with the same version who is already loaded: in that case, Flashback+ does nothing!
1/ Have you done that:
Quote
Unplug/unconnect ALL except the PSU connected to CPU_PWR1 and ATX_PWR1.
2/ Retry but this time with >>Bios V1.70<< (E7B85AMS.170) but I'm afraid that Flashback+ refuses also the downgrade (AMD refuses that since ComboPI).
Have a good day,

Unfortunately, I agree because I do not see what to do except RMA the mobo.
:scratchchin:
Maybe:
1/ If you have, or can borrow, an older CPU... If yes, then you can start the mobo with the currently loaded bios version and update it with M-Flash before to replace the CPU with the Rz-3700X.
2/ Retry to Flashback+ but this time with >>V1.00<< (E7B85AMS.100 renamed MSI.ROM): some users reported to have "repaired" Flashback+ by doing that. If successfull, run again Flashback+ with >>Bios V1.80<<.
Really sorry to have not a better suggest,

1/ Do you keep the Flashback+ button pushed at least 3s?

3/ Is there an USB 2.0 pen in those used for tries (normally, it is not required, but...)?
4/ If yes, there are only 2 remaining options:

yes , i try order CPU AMD AM4 RYZEN 3 1200 4X3.4GHZ/10MB Box in amazon/
i have video card. i think no need order AMD CPU G series
and yes i try press 1,2,3,4,5 sec
i have now 9 USB pen) .2/4/4/4.8/8/8 16- all fat 32,

I now recall that it seemed that I once had blinking well, and after that I could not repeat it. so I think that 2 flashes + CPU LED On = the bios version is already installed.
but if the BIOS is installed, then why the system does not start
You know what the 2 times Blink _+LED RED in BiosFlashback  + EZdebug CPU red= what is mean? 2+1?

normal start all the same
CPU FAN,FAN Video card. PSU, /EZdebag CPU led red/ - no signal in monitor.
same in my video

You're right!
1/ When you will have the Rz-2200:
- Build a minimal configuration (CPU + CPU-Cooler + only 1 RAM stick in DIMMA2 + GC in PCI_E1 + PSU connected to ATX_PWR1, CPU_PWR1 and GC_PWR + Keyboard/Mouse + Monitor (not TV) connected to the GC.
- Do a clear CMOS (to force new components discovery) and enter in bios setup when asked.
I want to believe...
2/ One fleeting thought: we have not studied the PSU. Bad PSU prevents Flashback+ to run. What is the model? Are you sure it works?
Hoping this time the pc will boot,

after Flashback
Do You know what the 2 times Blink _+LED RED in BiosFlashback  + EZdebug CPU red= what is mean? 2+1?
It is like Flashback+ read the USB pen content (LED on the pen is flashing) when its LED flash 2 times but, after, does nothing (its LED remains on but USB pen stops to flash) so that pc boots and alerts that it does not detect a CPU. There are many reasons who can explain why it does nothing:
- USB pen cannot be used.
- "MSI.ROM" does not correspond to the mobo.
- Bios on the pen is the same version as this already loaded.
- Bios on the pen is an older version than this loaded (remeber: AMD refuses any downgrade).
- Flasback+ is broken.
Boot with the Rz-1200 should answer to some of these hypothesis.
Have a good day,

Have you done:
- Verification that Rz-1200 has not bent pin
- CPU + CPU-Cooler + only 1 RAM stick in DIMMA2 + GC in PCI_E1 + PSU connected to ATX_PWR1, CPU_PWR1 and GC_PWR + Keyboard/Mouse + Monitor (not TV) connected to the GC

If yes, unfortunately, it sounds like the mobo is broken. That explains why Flashback+ did nothing... It must be returned to the store or you can ask to MSI for RMA: >>How to contact MSI<<.

always the same symptoms immediately starts EZDebug CPU LED  RED if I run the system fully assembled.
if I am flashing it starts first /EZDebug CPU LED  RED  after 2 seconds, the flashback  blink 2 times and then burns constantly.
like in the video.

when you are using flasback function, note that it's better to leave it 3 to 5 minutes as sometimes it's flashing longer time...
and if on the first boot you see it got stuck in EZdebug CPU, then try to shutdown then plug all the 24pin/8pin power from motherboard and
do the clear CMOS and plug out the battery and wait for 5 minutes and try to boot again,...

I also encountered such a problem, and saw many similar problems on the forums.
The problem is solved by formatting the flash drive with the rufus program with the parameters as in the picture
I do not know why MSI does not write about it in the manual
