EZ DEBUG LED DRAM - X570 GAMING PLUS
« on: 31-August-19, 04:45:13 »

Hi everyone,

I have a problem with EZ DEBUG LED DRAM on x570 Gaming Plus.

When I turn on the PC, it dont show nothing on monitor. I have seen that the EZ DEBUG LED DRAM is on, and i try change RAM sockets, but doesnt work.

I thave tried connect displayport or hdmi, GPU-MONITOR, or disconnect GPU and connect hdmi port to motherboard, all of this with hdmi-hdmi, displayport-displayport, and hdtv-vga.

Actually, im gonna buy a hdmi/displayport-VGA converter and try it, but i think in this case the problem is the RAM.

My specs:

- RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB 2x8GB CL16
- MOTHERBOARD: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6GHz BOX

Anyone have an idea that how fix it?

If u need more information for my pc specs, ask and i will say asap.
Thanks for help and greetings.

PD: sorry for my bad english :'(

Hello,
1/ Do you know the bios version?
2/ Verify the connexion between the monitor and the graphic card; what models?
3/ Unconnect all drives (DVD reader and M2 also). Plug only 1 RAM stick in DIMMA2 (2nd slot from CPU) then do a clear CMOS:
- Power off PSU, unplug the power cord and wait that all mobo's leds light off.
- Either
    . short JBAT1 during at least 20s
(if you have not a jumper cap, use something like a screwdriver but be cautious to touch only the 2 pins of JBAT1) or
. remove the battery cell during 15mn.
- Plug the power cord and power on.
If you have display, select to enter in bios setup when asked. Set "SETTINGS \ Advanced \ Windows OS Configuration \ BIOS UEFI/CSM Mode" to "UEFI".
4/ If DRAM EZ DEBUG LED is again on, move the stick in another DIMM slot and redo a clear CMOS.
5/ You can also retry with the other RAM stick.
Hoping it shall help,
:hat tip:

Looks like your ram is causing the ram debug led light to be on. Try using only one ram stick in dimm 2 slot. If that doesn't work, try a different brand/model ram stick if you have any around.

Thanks for help, but didnt work =(
:undecided:
1/ Unplug the CPU and look for bent pins at its base (use a magnifying glass).
2/ If there is none bent pins, have you the possibility to borrow a RAM stick of another model/brand to retry #3-4?
Have a good day,

I tried with a friend ram, and didnt work, EZ LED DEBUG DRAM still on.
1/ Can your friend verify that your own RAM sticks work?
2/ If you have already done that:
Quote
1/ Unplug the CPU and look for bent pins at its base (use a magnifying glass).
and there is none bent pins, then mobo is DOA!
If you can refund it, do it. Else, ask to MSI for a RMA: >>How to contact MSI<<.
Sorry for this bad news,

I had that same problem when I first tried to boot the board. I've tried to boot board without GPU and this I saw the GPU led. After plugging GPU, I didn't have a screen signal. After some workaround, I have seen that I had a screen when I plugged out the M2 drive. I have updated bios then and reinstall M2 drive. Everything worked.

Hello,

I dont check bent pins.

My friend RAM work fine, he disconnect it from his PC 30 minutes before.

Nothing is connected to M2 slot, only have a one ssd and one hdd. (I tried boot while both disk slot are disconnected, and didnt work)

:/

Greetings

You friend's ram work in your system when you put them in?
