Bios request 2080ti gaming x trio
« on: 06-September-19, 14:04:45 »

I've seen several posts stating there may be a new version and that it may effect afterburner. I just want to be sure I'd be updating correctly (I've never updated vbios before) and it seems this process requires submitting a post of my own instead of a mass thread.

Bios file from GPU-Z says it's too large to attach, please advise if required.

SN: 602-V371-11SB1810000681

GPU-Z states vbios name as msinv371mh.101

Thank you.

You are using vbios version NV371MH.101. Latest is NV371MH.105 (attached).

For flashing use nvflash: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-nvflash/

note that you need to rename the unpacked file NV371MH.105 to .rom (e.g. 105.rom) for flashing.

If you saved the nvflash for windows .exe say under drive d: you can start it in a Windows prompt in administrator mode after you saved the .rom at the same place. First type d: (or wherever you saved nvflash and the .rom) and press enter. Now you changed to drive d: where you have nvflash in the root directory. Now start the flash with the following line: nvflash -6 105.rom (press enter)

Note that if using a 64bit OS you'll need to run the line nvflash64 -6 105.rom

Sorry to jump in...I have the same card but at the moment on 104 bios. Is there any good reason to update to 105?

Quite good to further ask something unrelated in a thread after another user has already been told to open an own thread.
