Hey, i'm currently running a manually overclocked Ryzen 7 1700 on a MSI X370 Gaming Pro, is there any way to make the cpu downclock/reduce voltage in idle mode?

Can you use pstates with this CPU/board? Ive seen that there are pstates selectable if you activate AMD Cool & Quiet but theres no way to actually set clocks/voltages.

Try this. Enable "Cool n' Quiet" in the BIOS. Change it from AUTO to ENABLE. This should reduce the voltage and speed in idle until you put the CPU under load.
