M-FLASH won't recognise new BIOS
« on: 06-December-19, 11:49:30 »

Hi all,

I recently build a new PC using a MSI B450 a pro motherboard. The MOBO is currently running on BIOS version 7B86vAMS.
When I tried to use the BIOS flashback button before installing my CPU (Ryzen 3800x) to make sure the BIOS and CPU were compatible the light would blink twice and then be solid white. It didn't seem to work.

I moved along and build the PC. Luckily it POST succesfully and I have been able to install windows and new drivers.
When I try to install the newest BIOS driver on a USB stick and use the M-Flash option in the BIOS it does not recognise any new driver firmware on the USB stick.
The USB is formatted to FAT 32. It seems to have two partitions since I used the stick to install windows. Total capacity of the stick is 256GB.
I unzipped the new BIOS firmware and placed this on the USB (only file on there).

Any tips / suggestions?
