Hi,

I have two kits of G.Skill F4-3200C16D-32GVK for a total of 64gb (so All dimm populated).
It seems that I can't get a post to w10 using the xmp profile 2 (3200 mhz)... XMP 1 runs fine, I didn't test properly but I did video rendering, gaming for a few hours and it seems stable.
If someone had a clue, by any chance, that would be awesome.

My config;
Ryzen 2600 at 3.8 (Game boost)
2 x F4-3200C16D-32GVK
Msi B450 Gaming Plus with BIOS updated very recently

Thank you,
Al

XMP profile 2, 3000 I guess?
Take it, there is no 3200 16g modules of g.skill at 3200 that qualified in 4 slots on the qvl.

Thx but I'm not sure to understand... Do you mean on the qvl for my mobo ?
In any case I'm pretty sure have seen reviews on newegg where people claim that they were able to push it to 3200 even after adding a second kit and so having a 4 x 16g configuration.

BUMP!

I am not a pro overclocker... I thought adding a second kit would be a breeze...
Is there a chance for me to run it @3200 with some manual tweakings ?

Thx

Might have been with an older bios, why did you update?

Because when I did some research that was the first answer popping up everytime. I had this problem before the update (which is why I did it).
My ram model doesn't seem to appear in the qvl list of my mobo indeed.
What should I do ? Trying manually ? Get a refund and save for a 64g full kit?
Is this a problem that won't exist with another cpu or motherboard ?

What bios version did you update from?

You can try manually.
Post all sensors of HWiNFO
Click the out arrows on the bottom left corner to fit more sensors in the window.

So it seems that M-flash doesn't allow me to rollback the BIOS...
Is there another way to do so in a clean and fast manner ?

No there is no official way to downgrade below 7B86v17.
The only way to do it is use the flash tool that can be found in Svet's post
You can still try some tweaking with the new bios, flashing is always a risk of breaking the motherboard, less you flash is better.

I have a b450 tomahawk max that doesn't work well with ram. I have two memories (2x16gb ddr4 3200mhz .. Features: - Brand: Rise - Model: RM-D4-8G-3200D   Specifications: - Capacity: 16GB - Frequency: 3200Mhz - Type: DDR4 - Frequency: 3200 - CL15–17-17-35 1.2V - Latency: 15 - Pinout: 288 pin DIMM   Package content: - Diamond Rise Mode Memory) activates xmp on A1b1, does not work activating xmp on A2b2 .. even with xmp active it only works 2400mhz.setando manual, with voltages, nor beep. Another card with another ryzen processor got normal. I upgraded and changed the card no longer takes 3200mhz
