Just trying to confirm this RAM is ok
« on: 22-May-20, 21:26:32 »

Hello. I am just looking for a bit of assistance in buying some RAM. I am wanting to get it tomorrow and a lot of businesses here are still closed, so Best Buy looks to be my only option. When I look up this RAM model number it brings up results about Mac RAM. Would someone more knowledgeable than myself be so kind as to confirm that this will be ok in the old MSI laptop I want to put it in?  The laptop is a MSI GX660-260US and this is a link to the RAM:  https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-8gb-2pk-x-4gb-1-0ghz-ddr3-sodimm-laptop-memory-kit-green/2824528.p?skuId=2824528  .   I am pretty sure it will work, I just don't want to make a mistake.  Many thanks in advance for any replies.

That doesn't help my original question either. I know how to see my ram. You aren't helping, but I appreciate you trying.

OK, next3r, after reading a few times, I think I understand what you were trying to convey. A language barrier may have gotten in our way. Thanks again for trying to help.
