MSI GS75 Abnormal GPU temps 75c-82c
« on: 30-May-20, 23:26:19 »

I re paste my GPU and CPU with Thermal grizzly Kryonaut and got really good results with my CPU but my GPU ended up getting a little hotter. I also have compared my GPU temps with others with the same laptop and they get anywhere between 65c-72c on the GPU and thats also what i was getting before the re paste. I did another re paste and the results were the same. How do i get my GPU to be 10c cooler like it did before and like others with the same laptop?

Whats likely happening is your repaste has made the cpu thermal transfer to the shared heat pipe more efficient and so your cpu is heating up the gpu more now.  What temps are you getting with cooler boost on?  What cpu/gpu are on your model?  I have the 10th gen and rtx 2060 and am getting 60-70 on gpu with cooler boost on.  Same on cpu with liquid metal repaste by HID on both the cpu and gpu.  If i don't turn on cooler boost, im getting 90 on both cpu/gpu under load.
