K8T Master2-FAR (9130) - BIOS/Linux
« on: 18-December-03, 19:51:06 »

Hi,

I'm trying to update my BIOS to v1.10 but the only files I've found available for download are .EXE executables. I'm running SuSE 9.0 64-bit Linux, so I need to find a Linux binary equivalent. Can anyone help with this?

Any info would be much appreciated.

when you update the bios you use a dos bootable disk, so it doesn't matter if you are running linux or windows or nothing at all :)

I belive he mean that he can't unpack the .exe-file in Linux. WinZip self-extract stuff doesn't work well on my machine anyway.
But I have no idea on how and/or where to get it unpacked but I guess there's other people around that can help you with that.

  • Unzip the .exe and put the the files on a CDrom, then use a Win98 boot-disk to access the CDrom....best and most safe way to flash...
