Bluetooth key

hi,

after hours of installing and removing i finally got it running..
Now all i need is this key.
When i go to the website it says it is not a msi produkt.
Well it is a MSI produkt....
When i mail MSI about it , all they send me is this automated report how to obtain
the adress of the device, which i allready have offcourse.
When i send them another 1000 mail stating i need this securitykey and with the adress inside of it, i get no response...
How can i get a security key ?

greets

Johan

I have the excact same problem and have sent off my second request for help today:
Quote
e-mail
After using the Adress reader supplied by you I get the following BT adress for my BToes

xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

When filling in the form I get the following answer from the Security key service:

"Dear customer:

According to the BD address, your device is not from MSI.
Please kindly double confirm and retry it.

Regards,
MicroStar"

My device is clearly a MSI BToes, as my manual says so. It is probably a very early production item cause the CD bundled with the software does not contain any Bluetooth software:

The CD is branded: "MSI Drivers & Utilities - Wireless Networking Solution" and is stated to contain:

PC2PC -Bluetooth Software
PC2PC -Bluetooth Manual
PC2PC -WLAN Software
PC2PC -WLAN Manual
My problem is that it does not contain ANY software for my Bluetooth device. Last time I installed the device i was able to obtain the drivers and software from your website without a security key at all. Relying on your website for future installments and updates clearly was a mistake as I now have a Bluetooth device wich I can not get to work.

This is my second e-mail to you regarding this problem as 48 hours have passed without an answer from you.

Best regards
Torgeir Frøystein
I will of course post back if I find out anything on this issue

I have exacly the same problem. MSI websait tells me that this product is not MSI product.
I installed driver msi_bluetooth_software1.4.3.4.zip and if i try to enter the license the driver tells me that " Your Bluetooth Software license does not include use with this Bluetooth Device. [6]
The bluetooth icon in my taskbar is red which means that i have to give him the security code.

Same problem with my BToes. My friend bought BToes like mine (but a half-year later) and he DOES NOT have problems!

MSI, check and update driver pack 1.4.3.4! Get mercy to your customers!
Why must I use crack? It is NOT fair!

GOTCHA! Problem solved here: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/software/swr/spt_swr_list.php?kind=8

this isn't an MSI problem, i've had exactly the same problems with a Trust Bluetooth USB adaptor.

I am unable to get my MSI 6967 Bluetooth stick running.  :wall:

My system is Windows XP with the latest updates. I have carefully followed the instructions from the web site to download and install the v1.3.1 driver. As instructed, I reluctantly skipped the "Windows certification" screens. Now I get the message from BTTray.exe that BtBalloon.dll was not found and so the device is disabled. So then I'm not able to use the address reader and see if it is OK to install the version v1.4. driver.

Any ideas on where to get the necessary BtBalloon.dll and where to put it?  And will that slove all my problems and allow me to connect to my Nokia and then the www?

I installed the 'msi_bluetooth_software1.4.3.4' on WinXP SP2
but I have some really annoying problems:

- 'My Bluetooth Places' icon from the desktop does not work whenever I click it nothing happens
- when I try accessing the same icon from All Programs->My Bluetooth Places i get an error that the My Bluetooth Places.lnk cannot be found.
- I tried reinstalling the drivers and the same thing happens
- worse every time I installed my devices received a #2, #3, ... in their name so the uninstaller doesn't work either.

please help me solve this problems.
thank you
