detected new hardware?
« on: 04-October-02, 17:48:24 »

OK it is really cool tonight the cpu is running at 82 f anyway the game Army ops has been running pretty stable since disabled eax also the sound quirks that I mentioned in another thread also seem to have gone.  I was exiting the game when it locked up (better than during) and I ended up rebooting it from powered down When XP finished loading it came up with the new hardware is installed and it detected a pci memory device and I thought that was strange and when I looked at the device manager I didnt see anything new under system devices but instead the 415,420 ddr memory controller it was now listed as a 220 ddr controller.  I didnt try change the driver but I did restart from windows and now have the 415,420 back but I have to ask what is the cause of this and is it an OMEN
