« on: 06-May-05, 06:54:37 »

I have a kt4v-l mother board,  recently my power supply died .. I bought a new one. but when I push power I hear a beep each .5 seconds

beep, beep ,beep beep, beep, beep etc.

I triesd to find the sound code for this boar don the net.. (wihtout success)

If someone could point me to a place where it says the sound codes  ( beeo on error)  It would be realy appreciated.

Thanks

  • If your bios is an award bios, endless beeps indicate memory problems.  Check the name on the bios chip.  Also you might try other memory in your system to verify.

MEmory is fine. I removed it and using it in another machine .
Power is new and plugged of course..

Maybe the Ram slot .  But I think its the board it self.  :(
