This is driving me nuts:
-Bios 17.9
-16GB of ram
-AMD athalon xII 250
-3 sata drives (same results with no sata and only booting off usb, or if i set the sata controller to raid or ahci)
-Logitech Wiress keyboard/mouse with a usb dongle

Most bios's let you set a boot order in the bios, but i dont see any option for this.  Everytime I boot if i press nothing it goes to the Terabyte TB boot menu that says press any key to enter.. I press any key and nothing ever happens.  I eventually get the no bootable device available and have to reset.(even if i have a bootable usb drive/hard drive connected)

Everytime I boot I have to press F11, and select my boot device.. how do I set a permanent order for this?

ok press Delete repeatedly as it starts to enter bios
go to Advanced BIOS Features
in there should be the boot order/priority
and make the changes you want to how it boots in there and all should be well

It did work.. I just missed the option..

So one of the boot devices on this board is listed as Infinity 2.2TB.. I have no idea what it is for.. at first I thought it had something to do with the disk controller.. anytime its the first device the machine boots to the Infinity TB screen that says press any key for boot options, but no key press works.. Maybe it is nothing to do with the disk controller.. but once i dropped it out of the boot order im good to go.

glad to have helped you find what you needed! sometimes in bios its confusing to find everything and the boot order isnt really very well pointed out so easily overlooked!

The 2.2TB Infinity feature allows you to use a 2.2TB or larger HDD as a boot or data drive. thats from msi themself so thats what it is! its an extended support program to allow large volume drives to contain your os and storage without conflicting with the windows limits!
