d. Make sure both MSI Center SDK & MSI Center is removed
e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?
    1620215129484.png
  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

Hi MSI and all,
after two years of working with my X570 Unify, I still have a question that I haven't even found an answer to here.
Why is it, that MSI Center is so a pain in the a** to use? Frankly, it has gotten better over the years. It is resizable since some versions. Kind of. Yay!
But I digress :)
My specific question that bothers me the most (and why I finally registered here) is:
- why doesn't the user scenario (custom setting) show the current temperature it uses for a fan curve, and
- why do the fan curves ignore that temperature?

(MSI Center: 2.0.16.0 / Bios: A-F0 AGESA 1.2.0.8 / 5800X / Liquid Freezer II 360 / 29°C ambient)
Temp: 50 CPU FAN 59% ?
Following the curve, it should be around 32%. Putting just a little load on the CPU makes the fans go nuts!
Interestingly, it goes to correct 32% when you move one of the nodes. But I dont want to open MSI Center and fiddle with the nodes to get this working after every reboot!

Please, take a look at this, tell me I'm stupid and where I'm setting it wrong (or did not find it already discussed), or make the damn thing work as expected.

do you see MSI Center quit unexpectedly error message when this happens? which profile is lighting up when the CPU fan is not following the Customize fan curve?
also, do you have other features that might affect User Scenario (e.g. Gaming Mode) enabled?

other installed features are only System Diagnosis (but never used) and MysticLight for one LED stripe with a fixed color (game sync OFF).
No unexpected quit from MSI Center and no error messages that I am aware of.
Profile is always "Customize" and Software control for CPU OFF, FAN ON

Also, I don't know exactly how often it occurs, since the PC is so quiet that I only notice it when the CPU load is very high (like Stockfish on Lichess). But it happened often enough that I came here. Currently I check for it every day now, but it hasn't happened since Monday.

need help, i was reinstall my Windows..before i reinstall my Windows, MSI Center Usage Scenario is Working Fine..now after I reinstall my Windows, my MSI Center cannot open Usage Scenario ini MSI Center, so i cant sett smart fan on Windows but i can still set in BIOS...every time I open Usage Scenario, it always bounces to Mystic Light

My RIG :
Windows 10 Pro Ver 22H2
MSI Center Ver 2.021.0
Usage Scenario Ver 3.2023.0411.01

Unable to update bios to v1.6 using MSI Center. If I use the MSI Center Bios updater it stops at 4% then reboots my system and never updates the bios. I can't get into my bios by hitting the del key since the usb ports to not activate in time for the keyboard or mouse to turn on. If I use the advanced options in Windows 11 to access the bios I can get to the bios but the mouse and keyboard won't work. I have Uninstalled the MSI Center and it still will not update the bios. I just need the MSI Center to work as it should so I can get into the bios. Fast startup must be on in the bios which is probably why I can't get the keyboard or mouse to turn on before I'm supposed to hit delete.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

MSI is working on a solution, it should be fixed with the next MSI Center version.

BUG Mystic Light 3.0.0.61 and 3.0.0.62 - MSI Center

My motherboard is an MSI B550 Tomahawk (non-MAX) and i have a Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro memory kit.

The MSI center detects the corsair memories, I can put the effects on it, but whenever I restart the computer or it comes back from sleep mode, the memories switch to "Steady" mode - with the Red color, so, I need to open the MSI center, open Mystic Light and put apply so that it goes back to rainbow mode. This problem did not occur in the previous version of Mystic Light.

Another problem is that when the computer turns sleep the monitor, it turns off the LEDs (I prefer that way), but before entering suspended mode, it turns on the memory LEDs and the computer goes into suspended mode with the memory LEDs on. This also did not happen in previous versions of Mystic Light.

Tested using iCue version 4 and version 5, both have issues, started happening after updating Mystic Light.

can you share the memory sticker, please? corsair memory modules might have different rgb controllers for one model name.

can you go into Mystic Light settings\LED Power Saving Mode and check if it's disabled by accident? it should be enabled by default.

The memory turn off the leds normally when monitor goes to sleep mode. But, turn on seconds before enter in suspended mode and stay on. So when back from suspeded mode, after login, the memory led's back to "steady" mode (red). (Just in the new version)

are you able to control the memory normally in icue? maybe you can disable MSI Center control in icue, and disable third-party RGB in mystic light first to have normal memory RGB as a temporary workaround?

I found the workaround, I enabled the synchronization between the motherboard and the memory. But I needed to make several changes to the task scheduler task, I created a task to close ledkeeper2.exe whenever I login (I have 2 users in windows), whenever I change users, kill the process and restart. After a lot of difficulty, I managed to make it work, but not the way it should be. The memories keep turning red, after it turns red, the MSI Center forces the synchronization and it finally activates the rainbow mode.

Now it's waiting for MSI to resolve this BUG.

Those issues are duplicated:
- When the system restarts or wakes up from sleep mode, the Corsair memory module would switch to Steady Red LED style.
- Memory LED lights up when the monitor goes into suspend mode.

They are working on a solution.

CC_Engine_x64.exe causes ~7% CPU usage and high idle temps after installing MSI Center v2.0.24.0. The only Feature Sets I have installed are Mystic Light v3.0.0.66 and Super Charger v2.0.0.07. Ending the CC_Engine_x64.exe process in Task Manager drops temps, but I need to kill it again after a reboot, even if MSI Center isn't set to run at start.

I've noticed that sometimes when MSI Center is open and in focus, CC_Engine_x64 process usage drops back to 0%, but will rise again when MSI Center is either minimized to Taskbar, System Tray, or when exiting MSI Center.

I've tried uninstalling with the Removal Tool and reinstalling, but no luck.
