How to re-install MSI Center?
1. MSI Center/Dragon Center Removal Tool
No brainer uninstaller that remove MSI Center in one click
2. Follow steps below
a. Go to Apps & features.

b. Uninstall MSI Center SDK

d. Make sure both MSI Center SDK & MSI Center is removed
e. Re-install MSI Center from scratch again
  • How to install Dragon Center/Creator Center if I have already installed MSI Center?
Why do you want to do that? But if you insist on making the “wrong decision”,
    • 1. Follow the steps above to uninstall MSI Center and MSI Center SDK.
    • 2. Search for MSI Dragon Center/MSI Creator Center in Microsoft Store to install Dragon Center/Creator Center.
    • 3. Waiting for the installation to complete.
  • Why does Dragon Center ask to uninstall MSI Center SDK before installing?
    1620215129484.png
  • This is what you get for not liking MSI Center, but you can fix it by opening command prompt and type “reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\MSI” and enter “yes” after.
    Note.
Make sure no MSI Center registry key left in the specific path

CC_Engine is for system monitor or OC profile settings etc, I would expect it to occupy some of the CPU usage.
What's the idle temperature difference before/after you install MSI Center though?

My system usually idles around 38°-40°C, but with CC_Engine process running, it gets up to around 60°C. I'm not running any OC profiles, and I'm using the normal Windows 11 AMD Ryzen Balanced Power Plan. Again, I only have Mystic Light and Super Charger modules installed. CC_Engine also runs at boot with high usage even if MSI Center is never opened or even started with PC at boot. I've had this PC a couple years or so, & it's never done this before MSI Center v2.0.24.0...

60 degree idle sounds bad  I think on microsoft store, the latest version is still 2.0.21.0.
Perhaps you can try uninstall v24 and retry v21 and see if it fixes it.
Which motherboard you have btw?

I'll probably go back to v2.0.22.0 later today.

Back to normal after reverting to MSI Center v2.0.22.0. The CC_Engine_x64 process is almost always at 0% usage, with occasional spikes around 0.2%. With v2.0.24.0, it idles around 7% with spikes over 12%. Not cool at all.

It definitely seems to be caused by the newer version of CC_Engine_x64 installed with MSI Center v2.0.24.0. It happens with or without any Feature Set modules installed. When the Hardware Monitoring tab is opened in v24, the CPU usage goes back to normal (0%), but as soon as you close or minimize the app, it shoots back up. Weird. It shouldn't be working harder when the Monitoring tab isn't in focus. It shouldn't be trying to monitor anything at all when MSI Center isn't even open, and it certainly shouldn't be happening on boot if MSI Center isn't set to run at system start...

Here aswell, after updating to the newest version of MSI Center (v2.0.24.0) I get a high usage between 7% - 15%, with spike 20% of CC_Engine_x64. This was never the case with v2.0.22.0.

CC_Engine_x64.exe causes ~7% CPU usage and high idle temps after installing MSI Center v2.0.24.0.
MSI is able to duplicate the problem.
Known Issue: CC_Engine_x64.exe in MSI Center v2.0.24.0 Consumes High CPU Usage
Workaround: Download <<<
CC_Engine_Patch>>> and extract it, then run "go.bat". Reboot system when completes.
Solution: MSI Center will auto update your CC_Engine upon boot into OS

Those issues are duplicated:
- When the system restarts or wakes up from sleep mode, the Corsair memory module would switch to Steady Red LED style.
- Memory LED lights up when the monitor goes into suspend mode.

They are working on a solution.

Update:

- When the system restarts or wakes up from sleep mode, the Corsair memory module would switch to Steady Red LED style.

MSI Center 2.0.24.0 and Mystic Light 3.0.66.0 have been confirmed that it solves the issue.

2. Memory LED lights up when the monitor goes into suspend mode.

It's turn out that Corsair RGB memory would light up in S3(sleep state) if we want to controls memory RGB with iCUE\Memory tab\Hardware Lighting,
or when there’s LED profile in iCUE\Memory tab\Hardware Lighting.
If needs to turn off the memory LED in S3(sleep state), it's required to delete the LED profile under Hardware Lighting\Lighting Layers.

Thanks, the new CC_Engine_x64 is working fine so far.

I had the same issue with my B450 Tomahawk MAX. The patch fixed it.

Thank you.

I have a Bravo 15 c7ve laptop (only for 8 days), since day 1 MSI Center stopped working after a couple of hours of using it, nothing fixed the problem.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall through the windows store, I tried to repair the app, I tried to clean install, I switched my profile to local admin, I literally did everything (also installed different MSI center versions, from .19 up to .24).

The couple of things that worked were to factory restore with MSI windows image the lapto came with, but only worked for around 2 hours each time I reset it.
Clean Windows install, happened the same as before, just worked for a couple of hours.

3 days ago, a Bios update was released, didn't helped with this problem (however, the laptop was getting BSOD due a power control error, those stopped, and the system is more stable after the update).

The solution!!!!
I was reading a lot of old posts were the MSI Center was stuck on waiting for SDK to initialize, someone mentioned it was IPv6 related, I went to my ethernet adapter settings and untick IPv6 protocol, restart my laptop and now is working perfectly fine, I tried to re-enable the IPv6 just to reproduce the issue and the app stopped working again, without reinstalling or anything I just disable IPv6 one more time and is working perfectly fine.

I'm wondering if this information could be included in the feedback for the developers to patch this.

(BTW, I reached MSI through ticket support, live chat and call, they were about to RMA my laptop... this information needs to reach them as well.)

New bug with version 3.0.0.66 and 3.0.0.67.

I have 2 users registered on Windows.
If the computer goes into suspended mode when logged with user A, and when it returns from suspended mode and login with user B, the Corsair memory LEDs are not managed by MSI Center, i need to logout of the user, login again to get back to normal.
This also happens if I do the steps with user B enter suspended and login with A.

Note: If I go back to the user session that was initially logged in (before suspended mode), the LEDs are OK. But in new session after suspend mode, I need to logout and login to work.

Setup:
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
Mobo: MAG B550 Tomahawk
Memo: Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB
VGA: AMD RX 6750 XT Sapphire Nitro+

Did it happen on previous Mystic Light? Are you trying to set different color on account A and B? And how about other device RGB?

1 - New version only.
2 - Same bug with same effect or different.
3 - All devices controlled by motherboard are ok. Only Corsair LEDs don't work.

do you see LEDkeeper in icue\settings\software and games\active client when memory not controllable?
